I'm a mommy, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a social worker, a blogger and a (last but not least) reader.
I have loved to read as long as I can remember. I used to buy a lot of books. These days, unless it is not available at the library (or I want it right away and there is a list) I borrow. That means I still buy a few a month from Amazon. My shelf catalogues books I have read, whether I borrowed or bought them. I am a big lender of books as well, so unless I read it in the last year, I may not even remember if I own it or not. Before I had my daughter, I read about 3 books a week, so it is hard to keep track of them all. Now, I read about 1 book a week...
Looking forward to discussing books and sharing reading ideas!!
ADDED MARCH 11-2008: Oops, I just logged in for the first time in, like, a year...and realized how many notes and friend requests I had. So sorry to all that I have not responded to. I am glad my reading lists are helping you pick some good books. I may have not been at Shelfari in a while, but I have been keeping up with my reading, and will add to my shelf soon. In the meantime, if you wish to keep upm on what I am reading, I maintain a list on my blog at http://fancypansy.wordpress.com/. There are links to my 2007 and 2008 reading lists at the top of the header.
