Hello!

Im from Lebanon! a small country on the coast of The Mediterranean Sea! I like to read fantasy novels most!
Reading Communities are small where i come from, and reading as a whole have died in general! no one looks at it as a very beautiful hobby, most people regard reading as a severe punishment :P!

Hope to meet... more »

Cool, I'll check it out. I've been meaning to read that series for some time and actually own the first two novels, but for some reason never got around to them.

Same here! Well...I guess my first experience with the Forgotten Realms were the Baldur's Gate games that I love, but Salvatore's novels were the first books. I actually haven't read many FR novels outside of his and really need to expand upon that.

Yes! I'm a huge fan of R.A. Salvatore as an author and I see you are too. His novels about Drizzt are excellent.

This has taken me awhile to respond, mostly due to each time I tried it Shelfari was experiencing issues, but the book that got me into reading...would probably be either Dragons of Autumn Twilight by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, or Homeland by R.A. Salvatore! How about you?

The Strain and The Fall by Guillermo Del Toro is the latest of vamp tales I read and it's uber cool.

Hello, just buzzing through. I love reading fantasy stories, too. You could check out Stephen King's Dark Tower series, his declared magnum opus. It is addicting. Also check out Neil Gaiman's and Terry Pratchett's work. There's also Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl series.
I'm hooked. Hope you will be, too. Happy reads!

oh, by the way the Infernal Devices is a prequal series to the Mortal Instruments, set back in the 1800s. You mentioned you like old fantasy settings, you'd probably enjoy it :)

Mortal Instruments are definately worth the read!

Hahaha yeahh I'm pretty in love with the vamps and wolves, but I'm a huge fan of historic fiction so I'm still trying to find one set back in the day. Do you know of any I can put on my list?
