I LOVE reading!!!! Particulary mysteries-thrillers, detective fiction series, crime and psychological suspence. Basically anything with action and a mystery involved- that's my pick.

I don't really like Carol Higgins Clark either. I love Mary Higgins Clark- some favorites are Loves Music, Loves to Dance, No Place Like Home, and Weep No More, My Lady. I do not have a Nook Color, how do you like it?

Hi Liz, I have the original Nook wifi, I love it. I didn't go w/ the color b/c I prefer to read childrens lit and magazines dtb style. I am reading ADOW, it is fantastic! I haven't read a book in a while that captivates me like this one does. The author is a history professor and she really puts the old adage "write what you know" to work in this story. There is so much depth to it, the characters are wonderful... I would say definately buy this book!!

Nope no Nook for me. I would suggest that you start with The woods, as I have heard it is really good, or Gone for Good as I KNOW it is good.

I actually don't have a Nook or Kindle. I personally love having the physical book but I have been receiving a lot of books to review through my blog that come to me in PDF or as eBook. I feel bad because those books get pushed to the end of my priority. I aways try to read books given to me to review ASAP but it usually only ends up being the bound books that get my attention.

So in all, I will probably get a Nook or Kindle soon! Do you have suggestions of which would be best? I noticed that you can not download eBooks purchased through Amazon on Nook and you can not download BN eBooks and download them in Kindle.

Sounds good to me... except I still don't know how to add people to lend books too! I've been neglecting my Nook lately to finish up some library books... I'm on the last one now so I've dusted it off.

Welcome to the group, 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die. There is a general explanation of the group under guidelines and the book(s) of the month that the group is reading are pinned to the top. I hope you will be able to enjoy the group and perhaps join in one or more of the monthly reads. We will be picking a new book soon. Usually occurs around this time. We will be choosing from authors whose last names start with L.
