"...At the end of the day you are one with your art and everybody’s an artist. Everybody’s a piece of art. Everybody’s got a story to tell. Everybody tells it in different ways, some people tell it the way they walk, some people tell it the way they talk or the way they smile. You’ve just got to have some imagination" - Ville Valo... more »

i find this... amusing. it was hilarious at first, but gradually gets annoying due to her immaturity. i guess her being 14 should be considered, but her disrespectfulness towards her parents are a bit off sometimes. i can't say i'd like to read it more than once tho. =P

this is the 3rd book by him that i've read, and the plots are quite predictable, somewhat. the action scenes just as bombtastic as his other books, but some parts are quite cliche, something you'll see in the movies. let's just say i way prefer angels & demons =)

i read this before 'the da vinci code', and this was more then 6 months before the da vinci code movie was out (a slightly disappointing one, at that). i very much prefer angels & demons. i'm not 100% sure why. i think there were more mysteries and secrets in this book and the tone of the book itself was darker. it really grows and you and makes you think. tho it's cliche to say, it's hard to put this book down once you start reading, honestly. =)

I studied this for my Alevels, and I don't regret it at all. It's a really tragic story and Rhys is clearly postmodernistic in her style of writing and the issues she forces readers to think about : the state & status of women in those times. A moving read, a real gem. Highly recommended. =)
