Yvonne Lindsay writes compelling and sensual romances for Silhouette Desire and loves (mostly!) every second of it.

For as long as I can remember I have loved to read. In fact I read so much as a kid that friends would come over to try and entice me to go out and would accuse me of having 'reading sickness' because it would take a heck...more »

This was another Barbara Erskine novel that I found intensely gripping. I was lucky enough to read much of it during a couple of flights between Aus and NZ and ended up totally lost in the action and the evil. I always love that about BE's books, that ever present malevolent threat just waiting for a portal. I liked this story much better than Whispers in the Sand.

I don't usually read this genre but was very pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed reading this book. I thought Amanda Ashby handled the subject content well and with a light hand and I would happily recommend this book to anyone looking for a warm fuzzy read.

This story is excellent if you want to be totally creeped out! The first time I read it we were away on a camping holiday. I tell you, the sound of the not so distant waves on the beach, sucking away at the sand and the dunes, when I was trying to sleep at night with scenes of the book still vividly pictured in my mind was something I'm not in a hurry to repeat!

This story just wrenched at my heart. These two had so much between them, holding them apart. To experience their journey to eventual happiness was an emotional roller coaster.

This is my all time favourite book. I've long been a fan of time travel stories and this has all the ingredients that take me back to the story time and time again. From modern day to the past, Linda Howard has me by the throat with her skillful rendering of the heroine's sheer will to survive entwined with her connection to Black Niall and leaves me awestruck no matter how often I read this story.
