Yvonne Lindsay

Yvonne Lindsay writes compelling and sensual romances for Silhouette Desire and loves (mostly!) every second of it.

For as long as I can remember I have loved to read. In fact I read so much as a kid that friends would come over to try and entice me to go out and would accuse me of having 'reading sickness' because it would take a heck... more »

I love Balogh and I think I've read pretty much everything she's ever written. WEB OF LOVE is pretty intense, which I just love. It's one of her earlier books, out in reprint here in the US, but you can probably get it easily there. The Simply books are sweeter, but still have good stuff in them. Frankly, you can't go wrong with a Balogh. There's one with PEARL in the title (I could look it up, but you know...) that is incredibly intense and angsty. You don't have to read them in order..just grab one and go. Really. :) (And Merry Christmas!!) (All the kids and grandkids are coming to the island--are you having a big holiday?)

We did the whale-watching trip in Kaikoura (spelling) and I didn't do so well. But I didn't have any problems with the 18ft swells on the inter-island ferry. I just worried about the 20 railcars in the bowels of the ship, wondering what would happen if they tipped over! Ack! I visited with Shelley Munro in Auckland before I left so that was fun! Wish I'd known you were there!

I like that my sister and I have writing in common. We've never been closer. You're in NZ? I was there over the Christmas Holidays! What a lovely country. We drove ALL over (well almost). Loved that ferry ride to South Island. The ride back we had 18ft swells. I'm not a good sailor :(
