I love to read - cozy mysteries are my favorites, but I also enjoy romances and romantic suspense. I have a huge TBR mountain, which is almost embarrassing, but I love to read. I'm addicted :) I'm looking forward to meeting other readers and making new friends.

    Not sure if I'm right, but I heard they changed the ending. Evidently, Jodi Picoult didn't have anything to say in the matter - can't believe she'd let them do that to her book! Guess I'll choose not to see it.

    I haven't seen the movie. I enjoyed the book even though it's a little depressing. Seems to me that 9 times out of 10 the book is better than the movie. I loved My Sister's Keeper, but heard that the movie wasn't all that great.

    I really like Jodi Picoult - as you can probably tell from my shelf. Actually, I haven't put them all on yet - think I've read everything by her. I liked all the books you mentioned that you haven't read yet. I'm reading the Guernsey one now and liking it more than I thought I would. Another author I like and you'd probably enjoy is P.J. Tracy - the series started with Monkeewrench - that's on my shelf.
    Too many books - not enough time!

    My kitty is a 15 year old Somali - her name is Cloe - she's a sweetheart. Just joined last month so not too sure of how this works yet. Are you now my friend? I only have one other right now - my sister - she's the one who invited me to join. I notice you have 128! Check out my shelf and see if we like any of the same books. I'm like you - if it's a good story I'll read it. If I can't get into it after the first couple of chapters - I usually quit. Too many good books out there to waste my time reading something I don't like.

    Hard to resist adding a friend who has a kittie picture! I also love mysteries - but, sorry not romance novels. My tastes are pretty eclectic - I seem to go in streaks. Mysteries relax me.
