My reading habits are sporadic and compulsive. At times I can go for months without reading a book, existing on magazines and fanfiction instead. And then suddenly I manage to squeeze 40 books into one month. I read everything. Mostly non-fiction and plays these days.

    well if you read anything then you will like this book as well, a book describing the life of a geisha and what she must go through to become one.

    Atonement is great. If you've seen the movie, it's very true to the book, so that should give you a good idea. It's the only McEwan I've read, so I can't compare it to his other work, but it was excellent.
