    aha that is very true..
    Hmm, well some of my favourites that would be most likely to interest you are 1984, Brave New World, A Clockwork Orange and The Trial. (Can you tell that I like dystopian novels? :P)
    However, they're all pretty.. well I don't know, from your shelf it looks like you'd prefer something a bit more intense. :)

    I'm afraid I still need to read the book you mentioned ): The sheer number of great literature is just overwhelming!
    Your enthusiasm suggests that 'the man without qualities' is definitely a worthwhile endeavour, though?
