“The book does not open any new venture of mystery apart from the fact it avoided the caveats of having hundreds of characters to confuse the reader.
However the 'first ever' fact for me reading this was the way the murder unvieled or got proven. The courtroom verdict brings a small wind of change. Poirot is only the sniffer here and does not have his usual showdown by bringing every character in the book in a single platform. I dont recommend the book for new fans of agatha but for veteren readers, to complete the circle, you can just sail through the book and dont expect any magic.”
