I currently live in Bellingham, WA, but I grew up in the Deep South. The path that has landed me in Bellingham has been a winding one taking me through the field of art as a painter for over twenty-five years and before that through the study of religion. I actually spent one semester at Vanderbilt Divinity School. Life is good. Where that paths leads next is uncertain, whether it is a geographical relocation or a spiritual one.
I teach Yoga. an exciting path which continues to open worlds for me. Many books on my shelf revolve around that interest.
I am a slow reader, but then I absorb it well. I believe we are in a crisis situation globally. I am reading books about how we can salvage our economy and make it more equitable. Yoga helps me cope and breathe into our situation. I believe that the practice can help us not react but respond to the issues facing us today.
