I see that you've read Jon Stoltenberg's "Refusing to be a man". I've just started a group that you may or may not be interested in: http://www.shelfari.com/groups/40407/about

Working in a bookshop or not, you must be a fast reader!!!!! Hhmmm.. unless, maybe, are you 90something years old, if so, impressive ability to adapt to modern technology! I did notice you are the only other person with the book about Adolf Wolfli, Madness & Art.. I have it but have a few books to get through before I get to it.. what did you think of it?

Goodness me! I just noticed your friendship request from 3 weeks ago. How observant am I? Anyone with over 4500 books who used to work in a bookshop is okay by me. I love that you have "Invisible Cities": I had to do an art project in college based on that book. (And I also love your "Hello Buddha" avatar!)

    Hi,

Wecome to the Movie Lovers Group. Hope to see you as an active participant in the group; it's always great to hear from new voices. Just FYI, if your interested....last month's group movie was "The Lives of Others" and this month's group movie is "Miracle on 34th Street". If you've seen any one of them (or both) please feel free to post your comments. We also have a recurring thread "Movies You've Watched During the Month". Please feel free to post the movies you've seen on the small and big screen and your ratings.

    Have a wonderful day.

Thank for the invitation, and the compliments. Having spent some wonderful years in England, and loving my experiences I would love to get back there some time, though I really hate travelling now. My nephew's wife is from England and they are currently visiting for the holidays. I love listening to her. Hope to enjoy further connection with you.

Hi there! I'm just dropping by to welcome you to The 100+ Book Challenge. The idea of the group is pretty much self explanatory - try to read 100 or more books in a one year period. If you do have any questions, please feel free to send a message to me or Tenia. In the meantime, good luck reaching your goal!

WOW... Your profile is riveting... Giggle. I LOVE LONDON. Wish I could move there. Let's trade spaces. The accent gets me every time. I also love James Blunt, but I hear you Londoners do not. What's the scoop?

    Eclectic Book Club Peeps:

All righty, let's have those nominations for our next big read. What's everyone in the mood for?

Post your selections in the "Genres" thread and we'll hash it out. If that takes too much energy, I will put all genres nominated in a hat and pick one at random!
