What a find! Not paying attention or something, but WW Norton was unknown to me. No longer. Your list here on Shelfari is also...interesting. The Kelman "How Late..." is just outstanding. I can only understand him if I read him aloud in a bad Scottish accent. Any chance your house will be represented in Edinburgh this August?

Hello W.W. Norton. I am thinking about beginning a thread for the publisher's representatives among us at fiction effect. This may be quite the challenge for a big publisher, such as yourself, but I am asking our publishers to talk about their year - briefly, to mention some highlights. I am also asking them to say a bit about what they're looking forward to in the coming year. Would love it if you could participate. Let me know and I'll start the thread. Happy New Year!

PS--I'm looking forward to reading the Painter From Shanghai--I say Jennifer Cody Epstein read at Housing Works bookstore a few weeks ago. I'm a bit of a sucker for signed books.

Thanks, Steve. I recently received a review copy of Jean Toomer's Cane (don't recall the name of my rep.), which I plan to use next fall. I'll be using your shelf to keep me up-to-date with Norton's releases.
