Do not let anyone take away your civil liberties, ever. I respect Illinois public education for one reason. It mandates that Illinois high school students take a class in American Government and requires them to pass a Constitution test before graduating. It also requires driver's education.
I did not take an American Government class and wish I would have been required to take one in my state.
