The second installment from Catherine Friend as she continues the story of the earstwhile time-traveler back to Moorish Spain as she tries to return the timeline back to normal from her nemisis and former girlfriend. What kind of trouble she and her lover get into this time as they fight about the fate of El Cid, is truly the stuff of history buffs and romantics alike.

  • The Spanish Pearl
    • Rated 5 stars

The Spanish Pearl is truly a gem! Space-time is nothing at all for the heroine who stumbled on a portal and ends up back in time in 1085. Moors and Spaniards abound. And when she meets a dashing, sometimes frustrating don, she is surprised to eventually find out the hero is a woman! This story is very well crafted and the plot is interesting, entertaining, and creative.

  • Curious Wine: A Novel
    • Rated 4 stars

I read Curious Wine back in the 80s when I first discovered lesbian literature and I was blown away. An emotion-filled, touching love story, it kept me coming back for more until I was inspired to write my own romances: The Heart's Desire and The Heart's Strength. So I have Katherine V Forrest to thank for my becoming a published author, myself, as well as for the many happy hours reading her books!

Creative telling of a romance that was never to be--or was it--or perhaps the right people have all the wrong motives. Writing style is easy to digest and with just the right amount of humor.

  • A Guarded Heart

A soap opera star and an FBI agent come to Moon Island and are hosted by Annabel Worth and Cody Stanton, the caretakers of the island. Sexual tension abounds along with the complication of someone trying to attack the TV star. The island itself becomes another character in these stories.
