    Hey Evie!

How are you? I remembered you asked me about " A Case of Exploding Mangoes". I'm sorry I'd forgotten about it..certain other books caught my attention and I could not immediately finish it up. But now I'm near the end...and it's getting quite gripping.. it's about the assasination of the Pakistani President Zia-ul Haq, The political scenario at that time, you see a mix of satire and suspense. I was thinking you might have already read it, though :)

What are you reading these days? Anything you found particularly interesting? Have you read "The Kite Runner" ? I liked the book very much. You could try it if you haven't read it already

Yeah we've all noticed that. Bloody pain. Don't why it's keep happening. It could be the provider, after all it is a free forum to use. You don't know of any other providers that have reliable forums (free ones of course). If it keeps happening we'll have to move to another one.

    Thanks for joining Evie!!!

Well I'm only starting on the Highlanders and I think I'll be hooked for a while. Kind of irresistable. LOL

I've only ordered mine so as soon as they arrive I'll launch into the series.

As for Outlander it is getting better. Yeah Jamie is in that one. About 10 chapters in at the moment and starting to enjoy it more. I bought the second book in the series in a charity shop for like €1, which is probably about $1.50. I didn't realise it was book 2 until I got home and it is almost like new. Good deal huh!!!

I'll let you know what I think of Outlander when I finish it.

Battykins and I have started a forum. It's for Vamp/Were/Witch lovers. Kind of like our Shelfari group but with more fun and frolics. Heres the link: http://vwwom.freeforums.org/

Check it out and join. We'd love to have you.

Why, thank you for accepting! I haven't sent a request in ages, I just didn't see people I'd enjoy being friends with. So I don't bore you any more, I hope to be good friends here on Shelfari.
Actually, my favorite band My Chemical Romance's lead singer came up with that brilliant quote. One of my favorites in fact. Thank yoy for that!

Finished BTHM and completely loved it. Ordered the rest of the books in the series. At the end of BTHM there was a few pages of each of the other books and Adam's story looked really good. Oh I'm all excited.

Starting reading Outlander. Not grabbing me as much as BTHM. Only a few chapters in but I think it will be a hard slog to finish it because I'm not hooked as yet!

SciFi, paranormal, fantasy...although I will, for change, read across the genres. I like a well-written book that I can escape into. I relax to the maximum whenreading...pure pleasure of reading!
Nothing like a great storyTeller, superb pacing, and very interesting characterizations.

I just luv to read, and am glad that we are friends. thank you.
