“Absolutely loved Kite Runner as it reminded me of the child I once was and the adult I apparently am. I think it showed me how I would love to be able to make my memories vivid on the page. A Thousand Splendid Suns appears to me to be the difficult second album. While I enjoyed it it didn't hit me as completely from the heart. That looks too harsh, I didn't buy in to the story so much.
