Hmm...a little about me is what thou wishes to knowest?
Okies. Well...I'm a comic-strip & comic-book cartoonist / illustrator of book-covers too - by my main trade; and I'm also now a writer of mostly paranormal / supernatural genre novels. (I also sometimes write sci-fi genre books too). Interesting enough, my 1st novel is a sci-fi book, in fact. *Shrugs*.
Btw, I also drive an 18 wheeler rig - [Tanker trailers, and heavy haul Flatbed trailers], as a job when I need extra cash; which has been a lot more lately, since the economy went belly-up. And believe it or not; driving rig, out on the open road, helps me think up great ideas for my novels.
*My first novel is being published October 25th, 2010. It is an 800 page book, and it's the first one of a sci-fi [time-travel] trilogy. The whole trilogy will be released in 3 different editions - simultaneously. These editions will include Hardcover, paperback, and E-book. And each edition will have a different cover design on it! This first novel will be able to be pre-ordered directly from the publisher or thru Barnes & Noble bookstores, etc... beginning on October 1st, 2010. *(Please note, that all my novels will always be available simultaneously in the above 3 types of editions; so as to fit anyone's preferences & budget).
All my books will also be able to be ordered off my website, too (which is presently still under construction), starting June 1st, 2010.
The WIP (Works In Progress) books that I'm currently writing on include: Book # 2 of the sci-fi trilogy; and the first novel of a supernatural ongoing series.
*This 1st installment of my urban supernatural / detective series will also be released October 25th, 2010.
**Also please note that only my supernatural ongoing series, and my sci-fi novels will be released as audio editions; and the first audio CD [which will feature book one of the supernatural series] will be released beginning on October 1st, 2012.
(My gothic horror books will NOT be released as audio Cd's).
***Any merchandise (clothing, artworks, graphic novels, etc.) based on my novels will be available primarily thru my "Brass Cat Books.com" website. My website is presently under construction; and will be up-n-running on September 15th, 2010.
When I'm not writing on my novels I enjoy mostly outdoors activities, such as: Horseback riding; Canoeing; Camping; Baseball; Fly Fishing; Snow-sculpting in winter. I'm also learning how to do glass etched illustrations.
I also play the Flute; and play acoustic guitar too. Usually playing outside with my best friend listening and howling along - a rough-coat collie named: "Bear".
I also have a new, black as sin, kitten named: "Echo"
My current favorite Author is: "Kim Harrison"
I love meeting new friends and talking about books and writers! And of course love talking to fellow artists about they're artworks too. I encourage such people to join my page here.
My favorite comic strip cartoonists are: Frank Cho (Liberty Meadows), and Charles Schulz (Peanuts).
My favorite comicbook artists are: Mark Silvestri (Witchblade comic-books), Jim Lee (WildC.A.T's comic-books), and Terry Moore (Strangers in Paradise comic-books).
Favorite Comic-strips are: Peanuts, Marmaduke, Zits, Dennis The Menace, Calvin & Hobbes, Liberty Meadows, and Blondie.
The music I listen to while writing and or drawing is usually: Celtic, (soft) Classical, and sometimes old 1960's music.
My favorite band of all time shall forever remain: "The Beatles"
I don't watch much TV; but my current shows that I do watch are: "Terminator - Sarah Connor Chronicles"; "Leverage"; and "Dollhouse".
Okay...so-o-o blasted bored talking about me now. Hope to get to know everyone on my friends list here. Thank-x for stopping by my page.
Those who leave comments; will always get comment replies back from me too.
