a small-role actor and voice actor of such repute that I have long kept my day job, I spend my off-hours with two things: books and children, both of which fill my life and home.
Spurred by an Art Garfunkel article, I have begun to compile a list of my all-time 100 favourite reads. When I peruse it, I note that I seem inclined towards that well-researched fiction which evokes a different time and place, and is rich in characterization and goal-orientation.
I would suggest that John LeCarre and T.C Boyle are the authors that most consistently deliver along these lines.
I am most happy when I uncover and enjoy a previously unread novel and can then go through a host of books by the same author.
I enjoy writing and word games. « less
