  I'll have to check out the WeRead on Facebook. I hadn't heard of that one although I'm on Facebook.
  
  Yes, I know what you mean about strain on the eyes. Mine are always strained from all the computer work. I love the ebooks too for their convenience. There are times I like to hold a book in my hand still though.
  
  We are still having storms -- all after noon now and into the evening. Maybe they're drifting toward Chicago.

  I used to drive more, but now the rides are too short. I couldn't take the fragmentation of recorded books. I'm using a Kindle now, which is fantastic. I think the Owen Meany book was my favorite John Irving book.
