WittyPixie

I started reading at a young age. My list goes so far back. I have my favorites of course. I try and find new authors to read. But it seems I go back to the same. Nora roberts, Laurell k hamilton. Melanie Rawn, Christine Feehan, Mary Janice Davidson. Latest favorites are Yasmine Galenorn and Linda Winstead Jones. I read the occasional Danniele...more »

Will do! It'll probably be awhile because I'll need to get it from the library and that won't happen until Colorado, but yes, I'll let you know!

I read those years ago (the Bertrice Small ones), but I really liked her Skye O'Malley series (I think there were around 8-10 books in it). I may get back to it again. :D Ooh Knight in Shining Armor is amazing! A few friends and I passed it around in high school. It was awesome. :D And woo Omar for reading them!

Pft, if it's anything like her activity on MySpace I'm not too hopeful. -.-

eats, shoots & leaves: Indeed, I've really read it. Highly recommend it! Was it "helpful"? Well, hmm..... Maybe if I'd "studied" it - since it did have plenty of good information - but for full effect, it probably needs to be re-read a while later to see if the information really "took." Overall, I found it quite amusing - because the writing style is so clever and witty. The word-play she utilizes to explain the ups and down and the various faux pas (how do I make that plural?) of people's writing was enjoyable. It's a short book, so you really can't go wrong. Will reading it improve your writing? Not sure, but you'll enjoy reading it and you'll be more awaare of where you could go wrong. Go for it!
