more »My name's Yann, and I've spent far too much of my life reading.
I'm an MA student of Classical Civilisation (and Ancient History, though I try and ignore that part of things) at Swansea University, and have a particular(ly sad) interest in the ancient novel - hence some of the contents of my bookshelf. Other than that, I enjoy books of all genres, though I will admit to generally avoiding chick-lit and gung-ho action stories - I prefer to encounter their particular kind of pleasure when zoning out in front of the TV/watching the big screen with friends.
Contrary to the evidence shown here, I do have interests outside of the literary sphere. I'm /also/ hugely geeky when it comes to music and computer games. Oh, and I like, y'know, going out and socialising. No, really.
