I love books. All sorts. I used to have a rule about seeing a book through to the end regardless of how awful it was. I am older and wiser now. The first book that I threw into the charity pile half read was A Heartbreaking Tale of Staggering Genius. I loathed it. Though it now holds a special place in my heart as my liberator in the struggle against bad book tyranny.
