I have loved books since reading the phenomenal masterpiece 'Sheep In a Jeep' when I was four years old. I live in the New Jersey Suburbs, within walking distance of the train to New York and my local library, where I work as a page. My bedroom is so packed with books and papers that I barely have room for my guitars, my two cats, and the battered Olympia on which I try churn out my work (turns out there's a reason everyone uses computers now--no backspace on a typewriter).
I'm only 17, but I aspire to write seriously in the future, besides being a musician, an architect, and a world traveler. I come from a long line of bibliophiles. My father works as a marketing director for Penguin Books. His parents read voraciously, as did their parents. My twin brother doesn't read at all. I think something's wrong with him.
My favorite genres are fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, and humor. Nothing too serious, although I occasionally try to dabble in Classic Lit.. My author of choice is Jasper Fforde. Also on the list is Elmore Leonard, Carl Hiaasen, Tim Dorsey, P.G. Wodehouse, Christopher Moore, Georges Simenon, Craig Johnson Hunter S. Thompson, Brian Jacques, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, and Donna Leon.
