Now for the hum-drum stuff.
I'm Nigel Edwards, the best (or worst, depending on your view) side of 50, and live in Milton Keynes in the UK with my wife, Loraine. By profession I'm a QA engineer working for Capita Education in Bedford, but in my private time I'm the founder of Let's Get Published (www.letsgetpublished.com), the first free online portal for authors to promote their work to the publishing community.
I've wanted to be an author since before I can remember, but it's only in the last few years that I've begun to do something about it (see first paragraph.)
Over the years I've read thousands of books by hundreds of authors, and it's just not possible to record my recognition of (and delight in) them all! My bookshelf holds a selection of works from a number of authors. If an author appears just once, don't take that to mean I enjoyed just that particular offering of theirs. If I had to choose, then my all-time favourite authors would be Tolkien, and Pratchett.
