Bradbury is a brilliant spinner of short stories. If you like original and suprising plots with no limits, you will love this collection. Aspiring writers should aspire to be as adventurous with their plot lines as Bradbury.

Chat rooms, school violence, illiteracy, and a complete complacency with the affairs of the world. Sound familiar?

This was my favorite tale from Narnia. Puddlegum is a magnificent creature. Though, apparently he does not taste to good.

This was my childhood Odyssey. A great sea adventure to the ends of Narnia.

My Side of the Mountain was paramount in my development as a reader. When I read this book in sixth grade it sealed my love for the wilderness and the challenges it brings. I believe it was a dramatic influence on my world perspective. I often imagined myself alone in the wilderness relying only on myself and nature. This book helps us reexamine what necessity and comfort actually are: a hollowed out tree, warm fire, some acorn pancakes, and a loyal companion.
