I hope you will take the time to view my YouTube book trailer at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-t0K34iU6g. I am doing some research about potential characters to play the lead role in the upcoming movie. Hope you can help me out. As Ralph Eggleston Director/Production Designer of Pixar Animation Studios said,
"I LOVED the book! It's a missing, ENDLESSLY fascinating link to the history of Hollywood. Thank you for researching and writing it!! I hope it's been widely well received, as it deserves to be." Best wishes. Gaelyn

    Hi there --
In the spirit of fun and shameless self-promotion, do come to the first big Seattle readin from 'Jezebel: the untold story of the bible's harlot queen.'
It's November 7th at 7pm, at Seattle First Baptist (Harvard and Seneca), in tandem with Elliott Bay Books.
From pre-publication readings I've done, I can promise the atmosphere will be... electric.
Bring friends, spread the word, pack the hall!
    Thanks -- Lesley

I'm a fairly slow writer myself. I've spent decades working with many of the characters in this book. I believe I know as much about Josh Riley as I do my own family. Sometimes that makes the writing easier, sometimes more difficult. I think the transition from poetry to prose can be a difficult one. Many times I write with sweeping metaphor and forget the reader isn't always with me.
