“This is the funniest book I've ever read. It follows Jesus' life from childhood through his resurrection, as seen through the eyes of his best friend, Biff. Much of the focus is on the "mystery years" between the ages of 12 and 30. Although many Christians might consider it blasphemous, Christopher Moore treats Jesus pretty respectfully, all in all. It also contains several touching scenes that I believe go a long way in humanizing Jesus. ”
