I was the fourth child in a literate home. Library issued story book for a day. I was the fourth one to read. I had to read the quickest. It built my imagination. I would travel with Gulliver and Allan Quartermain. I would imagine myself as one of the characters of 1001 nights. Life went on bringing me strange realities. The journey has not ended. May be I die with my loved ones around and a book by my side; or may be in plane crash with a burnt book in my lap; or may be at my work station with a book on my desk. However I die, I wish to take one to my grave.
The books are second best thing to a human. « less
