I was an absolute bookworm growing up, and I've re-discovered the joy of reading thanks to the awesome library system in my area. I enjoy reading fairly fluffy things- no heavy-handed literature for me because I read to relax, not to tax my brain!

    I totally understand. I still have a book I got ages ago and have only read like 8 pages. Checking out books from the library is [3.

    I haven't! I probably won't until we get to Colorado. This place is kind of...'bleh', so I don't want to venture out much. -_-

    I was very :o about the sex in the first episode. I guess I'd forgotten how umm visual HBO can be. :P Hopefully it's one of those shows that gets better as you watch and not the other way around. -_-

    It didn't even occur to me about the whole sci-fi. I just kept going WTF in a good way. Better to like it than be disappointed though! I'd hate to be one of those people who loved the entire series but hated the last book.

    I actually really liked it! I'm impatient I ended up reading reviews and see a lot of people didn't like it. I'm surprised I liked it as much as I did given the reviews. -_-

    As for the show, I gave up after the first episode. :( I hope you like it though!

    So, I happen to have HBO on in the background and saw an In Focus thing on vampires, which is apparently a set up or something for a show called True Blood. I read the blurb and it said something about Charlaine Harris and I could've sworn that one of the people on my list had read her books and after some sleuthing (hello, Nancy Drew!) I see it's you!

    So yes, just thought I'd spam you to tell you that. :P
