As a child, I did absolutely nothing but read, read, read, and read some more. Adults pleaded with me to if anything, at least go outside to read just to get me out of the house. Reading to me is a supreme escape followed closely by music. I am primarily a reader of fiction and will dabble into non-fiction really only upon the suggestion of others of it as a good read.

I had actually gotten away from reading in recent years and have been taking the audio book route because of what I perceived to be time constraints that made it impossible to sit down and read a book. However, my job involves extensive travel so I find myself at the mercy of bound paper editions again and I can't imagine why I ever stopped. « less
