I am a voracious everything. I can watch movies all day without blinking. If I start a movie, doesn't matter how terrible (i.e. Ladybugs w/Rodney Dangerfield), I will finish it. The same goes with books. I generally will read the entire book within a day or 2. It's a hypnotic desire to find out what happens. This gravitation often leads me to scan pages, not sleep, cancel plans and for my ass to fall asleep. I have yet figured out a way to pace myself. With that said, you can always count on me to finish what I start.
I am not so much a non-fiction reader, mostly because it depresses me. But, I do want to be non-fiction reader, equally with my fiction intake. So, please recommend.
I love books about the human nature of deviance and enlightenment, especially when they are tied together. I also love books about a person's journey to the very depths of self-hatred and self-realization of the great wide open. I am not much of a romance reader, unless it is just trash. I don't read books about fairies or elves.
