Virginia Higgins is a mother of four children, three girls and one boy. She lives on the Mid North Coast of Australia. She was born and raised in the small country town of Inverell, discovering the joys of riding horses, chasing cows, swimming in creeks and creating mischief. She moved to Sydney where she worked for John Marsden and studied law for a while. She learned to love the underground music scene and live bands scattered around Sydney during the late 80’s.

She said: “It was an era in time that had a huge impacted on my life.”

Virginia was a singer and song writer long before she became an Author, although even from a young age she showed exceptional potential to write poetry and stories as well. She also draws, and plays World of Warcraft…in her spare time.

Her book titles includeThe Faerytale trilogy which is a masterpiece in the making and The Unexpected Life of Carnegie Lane. If you had told her ten years ago she would be writing books. She would have laughed at you. « less
