“I can't even begin to describe how such a slim novel could have such an impact. It took me a while to read this story, not only because it was a difficult subject matter, but because I felt ashamed to be doing anything while reading the story. Usually, I read with the radio on, or the TV, while eating dinner or having coffee, while my kids play nearby. This time, though, I felt as though I would be dishonoring all of the people who died if I didn't give the words my full attention. This is a powerful must read that will have you constantly reminding yourself that it is no work of fiction. ”
