more »Umm, yeah...I never can think of anything informative or quirky to say about myself, but I'll try. I don't like the spotlight, I'm more of a wallflower. I would be perfectly content to just blend into my surroundings, with a good book in hand, of course. I have few friends that I hold close and a wonderful husband, whom I feel is my true life's partner. Those close to me understand my eccentricities and, thankfully, appreciate me for them all the more :)
I enjoy simple things in life: good reading, good music, and just making myself comfortable in it all. Some of my favorite authors are Haruki Murakami, Hunter S. Thompson, Kurt Vonnegut, JK Rowling, and John Steinbeck. To be honest, I can't stand Charles Dickens. Some of my favorite musical artists are Radiohead, The Flaming Lips, Pink Floyd, and a wide array of others. I don't much care for country or rap.
Other than these, I just enjoy taking life as it is. The older I get, the more introspective I become; at least I like to think so.
