Great Dames is an incredible read. It is in many respects like diving into a anthology of short stories except these are stories of real Canadian women who have shape the historical narrative that is our past. I have indeed read the book cover to cover back in the early part of 2006. I checked and I do have it in my read and own piles.
HII was surprised to see that anyone had Great Dames on their shelf. I would love to hear what you think of it when it becomes something you have read and moved from wish list to shelf.
