This was my first Ann Christopher novel. Well, let me just say I was not disappointed. I absolutely loved Viveca's & Andrew's story of revenge, family secrets & lies. I found myself eagerly turning page after page to see what was coming next. I can't wait for Eric's story!

I love all of J.D. Mason's books! I was not disappointed with this read. The four women(Tess, Faye, Elise & Renee)in this book all had some drama going on! What I most enjoyed about the story was that each woman learned from the mistakes they had made in the name of love. I would have to say that Tess was my favorite character. I believe cheating is wrong, however, that no good husband of hers had it coming!

I absolutely loved this book. Caitlyn & Marcel was a match made in heaven. I love the fact that although Caitlyn had gone through a horrible experience that when the right man came along she didn't through her chance for happiness away. I would recommend this book in a heartbeat!

This is my first book by Gwyneth Bolton. I really enjoyed Latonya's and Carlton's story. Talk about trials and tribulations in a marriage. Ms. Bolton did an excellent job displaying how previous emotional baggage and meddling family members can almost distroy true love. I loved that neither Latonya or Carlton were willing to give up on love or their family. If you haven't read this book, you've missed out on a good read.

I've read Love Scheme and all of the books about the Ramsey family by Ms. Washington. Let me just say I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed reading Zakira's and Malik's story. This couple were truly soul mates. However, I must say I was a little upset with Malik's decision to keep Zakira in the dark. On one hand I understood he didn't want her to see him physically deteriorated and at his weakest. Zakira's reaction to Malik's behavior was totally on point. Her emotional turmoil of wanting to take him back vs. not wanting to be bothered was so real! Although I felt Malik's actions were selfish, in the end he totally realized the impact his decisions had on his wife and his marriage. This story speaks of the relevance of honesty and open communication in a marriage/relationhip. It also demonstrates that sometimes what we do to protect those we love may not always be in our or their best interest.

I read this book over 20 years ago. After reading it I just had to read the others that followed. Ms. Angelou lived a very colorful life. I really enjoyed reading her life journey.
