I've always been fascinated with everything dealing in the occult, and as I got older I only looked for more twisted, macabre, and essentially 'taboo' subject matters. I happily blame Poppy Z. Brite's Exquisite Corpse for allowing me to explore just how deep the rabbit hole can go. I've found myself turning books away because they just couldn't seem to measure up to the one that started it all for me.

While I absolutely love all things twisted, don't put it past me to pick up something off of the teen shelf or a good comedy. « less
