VALUSIA

I read so that I can write.

The real rush I get from reading is jumping into the writer’s brain for a wild ride that I can jump off of if it gets too intense but also one that satisfies me whenever I crave for it…

If I have children they will take my personal library as the theirs,a memory of who I was in so many items that... more »

I hope you will take the time to view my YouTube book trailer at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-t0K34iU6g. I am doing some research about potential characters to play the lead role in the upcoming movie. Hope you can help me out. As Ralph Eggleston Director/Production Designer of Pixar Animation Studios said,
"I LOVED the book! It's a missing, ENDLESSLY fascinating link to the history of Hollywood. Thank you for researching and writing it!! I hope it's been widely well received, as it deserves to be." Best wishes. Gaelyn

OMG, Kasia, What fabulous pictures of you! I put them on my PAPARAZZI slide-show on Yahoo360, as you already know. TY! TY! TY!

So you're a KNIGHT Owl, huh? Well, if there were any KNIGHTS around here, I'd be a KO, too. (teasing you about your little typo ...)

Speaking of the horror novel, well I finished it and was fine-tuning it when my dtr. got so sick. That was a detour I never expected to take, but ... Anyway, I will get back to it after my move, and then start the tedious submission process. I'm glad you liked the first two chapters (I did send you TWO, didn't I?)

Night-night for now, and your ideas for TOONIES and BABE pics are fantastic. Thanks! I think you read BABE, too, didn't you? It's so hard to recall everything but I think you reviewed all three of my books.

What gory horror are you reading now? I, too, love horror; kindred spirits, but I also enjoy writing in all genres.

Thanks, honey. Can't wait to see them, but what are you doing up this late (1 am in NY). Hmmmm ...

It was very hard writing about the Memorial, but I'm glad I did; it was therapeutic. Love my girl! What a beauty!

It's only ten in sunny Cali and I'm already thinking of bed.

I'll write more tomorrow. Thanks again, Kasia.

Thanks, Kasia, I'm so excited about seeing all the photos of my little Polish beauty! ... Can't wait till tomorrow! I'm almost as excited as I get when reading a good scary book! So you went camera-crazy, huh? Sounds familiar! hehehehe ...

Yes, I kinda figured that you meant book "cover." That is a fantastic cover, and fits your persona, especially your choice of reading material.

I'll let you know when I get the photos. It will be fun to incorporate them into my PAPARAZZI slide-show. Have you seen it yet? (Right now it's in no. one spot on my blog list, but I'm getting ready to do a new blog about an unusual book-signing I had last week, so that will push the Paparazzi to no. two place. HOWEVER, I'm only going to leave the new one up for about a week and THEN I'm putting PAPARAZZI back in first place ... which makes it easier to find.

    Later, sweet girl.

Hey, girl, where's those photos of you reading my novels. I want to add them to my slide-show. It's a fun project I'm working on. Did you have a chance to see it yet on my Yahoo 360 site (I sent the link in a previous note.)

Meanwhile, I move in two weeks so am desperately trying to get EVERYTHING done.

Oh-hhhhhh, what a frightening white wolf. (Pretty and yellow, but still spooky!)

m finally coming around. Honey, I made a very unsual slide-show on my Yahoo site. Check it out: http://360.yahoo.com/bettydravis

It's the PAPARAZZI one. I think you'll enjoy it.

Hope all is well in NY. This photo of you is so lovely. And DEAD WITCH WALKING really sounds good. I like books that have plenty going on at all times.

Hi, honey, Hope all is well with you. On top of everything else, I came down with a nasty flu bug (first time in years, so can't complain). Must be all the stress of late, but then again great-granddaughter Ashley may have brought it home from school. (She, her Mom Mikki and infant Devon are staying with me helping me out for a while.)

Have you tried Star-Crossed by Linda Collison yet? It's really good. Historical fiction is not your real thing; not mine as a general rule, but I liked this one. A real fesity heroine.

    What are you reading now?

    More later, Valusia.

    Hi, honey,
You're doing a great job on Shelfari. I kinda get lost when reviewing a book and can't get the stars to hold (turn gold) when I want to star the book. Other than that I find it pretty easy.
Just haven't had time to get involved as much as I'd like ... but now the Memorial is over so I'll begin to heal ... in time. At least, I'll be able to get back in the swing of things.
Oh, what I meant by ME being one of your favorite authors is that you listed others in your profile and forgot all about your little Betty. hehehehehe

Kasia, dear heart, I wrote a long blog about the Memorial and also published a poem my Mary Lee's son wrote about her. If you get a chance, use this link to check them out, and perhaps to comment: http://360.yahoo.com/my_profile-Rve1Ur0zfrIRw7laCF9r26RGCNHPrIYq03JQSoj5Oa3Q;_ylt=Ai_svl3.PFR2zErsoF8_1XmkAOJ3

More later, and I love your SHELF. I too am a big horror/vampire/werewolf/thriller fan.
Oh, while checking my blogs, you might also want to check the slideshow I made of THE LOVE ALPHABET and see what you think of it ... and granddaughter Kristy's lovely illustrations. And the slide of my former beach condo.

I'm submitting THE LOVE ALPHABET to a publisher in a few days. Wish me luck.

Meanwhile, I just read a great debut novel: SUNRISE AT KUSATSU HARBOR. You might like it, but I'm not sure.

Interesting bookshelf! Not one of a typical girl.
I enjoyed Horror books as a kid, but have stayed away from them since. I am thinking about dipping my feet back into the water, what could u recommend? I heard "It" is a must.
