Books, movies, music and more recently my love for poetry was revived.
I've been reading books since i could put B after A. I remember being all of eight and getting my hands on a book without pictures and taking my time reading it. My mom thought I'd flipped when i told her i was gonna finish it. There was no turning back as soon as i finished that book. It was a Sidney Sheldon, Memories of midnight.
Since then I've dabbled in different Genres............ I've read different authors, I've opened my mind to new ideas and I can tell you, it is the most exhilarating experience............ next to sex. (Hmmm.......... maybe even better than sex.)
If God told me he was going to take away all of my senses except one i'd choose to be left with the sense of sight, that way, I'd not lose my love of reading.
Read not to contradict and confute; nor to believe and take for granted;
nor to find talk and discourse; but to weigh and consider.
Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed,
and some few to be chewed and digested:
that is, some books are to be read only in parts,
others to be read, but not curiously, and some few
to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention.
