Yea.. Nebraska is known for wide open fields and prairies... and the plains. It is fairly green here.. but not that much.haha we grow corn, beans (basically soy) and sometimes wheat. Lots of cows here too.. ha. I think this is interesting sorta learning about Ireland and what not! Thanks for answering my never ending ?'s!

Sweet. Everything you said like languages are just not offered at my "little school" haha. I live in the little state of Nebraska! We raise cattle and corn! that is what my dad does also. I enjoy it.

Well thanks for the clarification! I am learning Spanish in school!! haha.. we don't have your language or anything as an option. But I think that Spanish is hard. So I think that any language you are not familiar with would be hard to learn! So over there.. you would get a lot of the same movies we would.. wouldn't you? I am just curious. sorry for the many ?'s

well I sort of dislike those books. haha. If I read any good Dessen books from now I well let you know! What kind of books are you into??? My fave are like Dessen books (teenage romance) Not like pure romance where that is the ONLY thing that happens... but I like that in there.

I love Sarah Dessen! I have not read Along For the Ride (but I own it, ready to read it) I have Truth about forever but not read yet.. I have read Just Listen and Someone Like You.. my friend has This Lullaby that she says she is only on chapter two and she says she laughs a lot. I asked shelfari readers if I should read Lock and Key... and there were a lot of yeses... but they said that it is kinda of a disappointment if you read some of her other great ones, and to only read if I seriously love Dessen and have time!

Thanks so much for accepting my friend request. While I have you here, I was wondering . . . would you be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Hi Katie! So glad you enjoyed the book. I see that you live in Ireland. Have you read THE NEW POLICEMAN by Kate Thompson? I found it quite delightful, a mix of Irish fantasy and music. The author wrote a sequel which I haven't read. Take care and happy reading! Ken

Hullo! I see you've read Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin. I've had it for a while, but never read it. Is it good?
