I thought the story was good and the multiple story lines intriguing. What I didn't enjoy was the translation. It seemed stilted to me and at times awkward. It also could have been that I have never been strong in geography and there was too much Scandinavia for me to digest. Michelle and several others at the store loved it. It was just hard for me to get into it. It has a lot of set up. The character of the girl (w/ dragon tattoo) I found to be great and was happy to see there would be more books continuing with this character. Hope you are doing well. We miss you!

Ok so this is how much of a nerd I am...I went to a bonfire sat. night and there was a guy there that reminded me of Edward...like the Edward in my head that I picture when I read. I kept staring at him, and it was dark so I couldnt tell if his skin was sparkling or not. He was dreammmyyyy ;-) I woulda told him to call me, but his girlfriend was there too!! :( hahahaha Dont judge me.

Jill fails to realize that "too much Edward Cullen" does not exist in our world!! I think, by the end of Eclipse, she'll be on board with that programs - at least, I hope she is. I dont know - any pic would work. I'm sure no one has any preferrences.

Well, Carey, Jennifer Phillips and Jill are all in my friends group. Those are the only BN people I know of so far, but I think people @ the store are joining as we spread the word. I haven't talked to Rhiannon about this site yet, but I be she'd like it. Who else???? A community is a great idea! There's enough of us now.

Wellll I think that the kids choose to be hunted by the animals because they have nothing better to do. Its as simple as that. And they like the thrill and whatnot. hahahaha you need to read those so you can add them to your shelf!!

Yeah - Eclipse is where I got annoyed w/jacob too. The imprinting she's referring to is similar to animal imprinting. Several animals do it, but it's usually related to when the animal is first born. Ducks, for example, will imprint when they're first hatched. If the mother duck is there, they imprint to her and stay w/ her. But, if a human is consistently around when they hatch, the duck will imprint on a human and follow them around, believing they are the parent. She's taking some "creative liberty" by using the term in regards to love. I agree that Jacob may have secretly imprinted on Bella. The fact that he still hasn't given up @ the end of Eclipse leads me to believe that may be the case.
I have become obsessed w/ the movie preview too - that's funny. I check out her movie page every couple of days, just in case there's updates, and watch the preview while I'm there. Haha. I'm lame! Let me know how the Blue Balliet books are. Everyone seems to think they're really interesting. Maybe I'll check them out. If they're half as good as Sweet Valley High or Baby Sitter's Club, I'm TOTALLY in!Posted 4 years ago. ( send a note )

Okay, I can appreciate Jacob, but I get annoyed that he confuses Bella. Maybe I'm more annoyed with Bella and her ability to get confused over these two. I just think her and Edward are so perfect that the conflict Jacob added bothered me. But - the books would not be nearly as good w/o him and he's a wonderful friend to Bella. So, do you feel a little let down, now that you're done w/the first three books? Are you starting the Host?
