I have retired after 33 years of service (and it feels good) as a Technical Writer/Editor/Technical Support team member for a large corporation. I love my babies (my two beautiful cats, LaRoux and Misty). I guess I love my child Lesli, lol. My favorite thing to do is to curl up with a good book that holds my attention. If the book does not grab my attention, it could take me months to read the entire book. A book is always near, for me to grab and read or I am doing research on the computer, which is one of the requirements of my job.

For those of you who really love to read, this site is very addictive. I find it somewhat better than a bookstore, due to the ability to relax and browse in the privacy of your home.

The books on my shelf are displayed as they would be on my home shelf; read and unread. If I have rated the book, I have read it in previous years or close to the present. My Wish List is obvious; Read List is what I will be reading next and the order I will be reading the book. The first book is what I am presently reading.

I do love to read, as you will see by my shelf. I will read almost anything. Therefore, my book rating is really how I feel, lol.
Book rating meanings (in my opinion), are as follows:
***** Run out and purchase
**** Purchase, but the storyline will be missing some important elements or Too Much Information (TMI)
*** Borrow the book…..You may not read the entire book
** Don’t buy. If you do, buyer beware or buy one for 30 cent and toss it later
* If you have it, just toss it, HATED IT! DON'T BOTHER! LOL!
