Here's what's happening in your Black Romance Group. Please join us in discussion.

    Romance Slam Jam 2008
    Happy New Year,

I hope everyone is enjoying our book club selection "When I'm with you" by LaConnie Taylor Jones. We'll start discussing it on 5 February.

Let's talk about the Romance Slam Jam. For those of you who are like what? It's THE event for readers and authors of Black Romance. Check out the website at http://www.romanceslamjamconference.com

It's the one place readers and authors of Black romance are celebrated. I hope to see all of you there!

So those of you who have gone, tell the others about it. Those of you who have never attended. Shoot your questions on for the rest of us to answer.

    Peace
    Deatri

I pray you had a fantastic holiday. Whew, I’m still fat and fluffy.

In the Black Romance group, we discussed Topaz by Beverly Jenkins and had a BALL. Beverly came in and hung out with us. ‘Cilla lead the discussion and did an awesome job.

Now it’s time to select our next Black romance read. We take two months to read, then discuss the book. So drop on by and participate. We’re looking for a debut author of Black romance.

    Peace

    Howdy!

I know it’s been a while since I said HI, so I thought I’d drop on by. There is a new discussion topic in your Black Romance group: Real Live Romance

Come on over and give us some real life examples of something romantic, of love at first site (notice I said love, not lust SMILE).

Don't be scurrrrrrd. Romance isn't dead. Tell us what you've seen/experienced out there.

And don’t forget that 15 November we start discussing Topaz by Beverly Jenkins. I’m working on a treat for the participants.

    Peace

    Cast Your Favorite Black Romance!

Because of your vast knowledge and love of Black Romance, a top Hollywood producer has come to you and asked you to choose the movie cast for the on screen production of your favorite Black Romance novel. Oh yes. Your word is FINAL.

Soooooo, tell us. What is the name of the Black Romance novel. Who will you have playing the hero and who will play the heroine. (and since you are the casting director, yes you can put yourself in a role. LOL).

Now come on over to your Black Romance Group and have some fun with us.

    Peace
    Deatri
