1st book of romantic poetry,  1st read alone book!,  a little better as a movie than as a book,  a$$h@le gets to be the hero,  always a trip to get stoned,  and few other british authors can come close to hi,  and like all his books,  as a person,  beautiful,  best of series,  better living through cooking,  better than elizabeth berg - just barely,  better than your average mushroom,  book made me realize i hated crichton,  brilliant,  but like faulkner,  certainly the classic it is hailed as,  choc orange!,  choked back tears whole damn book,  coulda spared me,  crazier scots,  crazy uncle,  darkness caught,  dead cat bounce,  doesnt get much lower than this,  dont know whether i like the writer or the riverwa,  edgertons mystical best,  elephant eaten by a snake,  embarrassment to my native mississippi,  fun,  fun!!!!,  good western for a yankee,  got a d grade on the assignment:),  heartsick redemption,  honest injun good,  horrible book,  i know it is older than poisonwood,  i loved all of willas girlfriends almost as much a,  in that his ok stuff is great!,  in the tradition of heart of darkness and poisonwo,  insurgent,  irving was a jerk!,  jeryy springer dr phil whores and sensitivity,  jesus saves the turtle,  killing dead people,  love the old lady,  loved it,  loved the pics,  lucky dogs and all,  makes you remember time when you could be proud to,  making money off of dead funny guys,  may she be eaten by a panda!,  maybe his 2nd best novel,  maybe toni s best,  missed our regular characters,  my life as a horse,  no matter the literary awards,  no matter the literary connections,  no worse than i expected,  not as good as his usual fare,  not his best,  not just as a writer,  of great aa writers,  ok,  one of the greatest living poets,  only jesus could redeem this lost cause! why do pe,  plain spoken master,  plodding,  poetry,  railroad cave dweller,  read it,  sensual country women,  silly and vain without atlas charm,  so far ahead of his time,  so fun,  so smart,  sweet pathetic sick sad,  texas country,  wild way to tell a tale,  wright aint one,  wrist slitting good,  you might like it if you make it past the 1st 100
