As to my Religious beliefs:
frankly, i am getting tired of small minded people defending small minded people.
Jesus drank and socialized with the worldly people, kept the company of a likely prostitute,
yet gave us, by far, the best example of how to live a holy life,
when you get through healing the sick and raising the dead and clothing the naked
and feeding the hungry and visiting those in prison, if you have any time leftover,
maybe you can walk on water and then start judging people.
Jesus saves , is the message, not Jesus sends everyone to hell .
and for my christian and non christian friends, alike:
i am pretty sure if there is a god, and he/she gave us the brains we have, either through direct creation,
or through a complex system of origination, then we are expected to use that brain to life as best as we can,
and each of us will be judged, not be what religion we chose, but but what life we chose.
Or, as it recently came to me:
If people wanna have religious beliefs and those beliefs make them better citizens,
I am all for it, and that certainly goes for Muslims, Jews, Hindu, and Buddhists, and of course Christians.
I like to think i am pretty good citizen without any belief,
but far be it from me to ever try to prevent someone from worshiping a cactus,
if they do it in a way that feeds the poor, and heals the sick!
