Hi Ben!I just checked out your shelf, and I should've done so about two weeks ago. I am reading On The Road right now, and it is not really blowing my mind, and I now notice that you only gave it one star. Any great novels to suggest for my next endeavor?Hope you are well!
Hi--I meant to add a comment to my recommendation of "Wuthering Heights," but for some reason Shelfari cut me off. Anyway, from what I saw on your shelf, I think you'd enjoy it, especially since you liked "Pride and Prejudice," though they're extremely different books. There are some wonderfully drawn characters in "Heights"--hope you enjoy it.
Hi Ben,I totally agree with Mincartaugh about the Discworld Series. My favorite is Sourcery. About Wuthering Heights, it's a book you must read. It's a tragic love story, sad but very beautiful. If you liked Pride & Prejudice I think you will also like this book. Keep on reading! Greetings, Monique
Looking at your shelf, I think I have a few recommendations for you. If you haven't read Terry Pratchett's Disk World series I would suggest you do. I really think you'd like them. The first in the series is Color of Magic, the second is The Light Fantastic, but i don't think you should start with them. Start with Weird Sisters. It's where he really gets into his stride. You can go back and read the first two after you've gotten into them a bit. Both are worth reading, but just not as polished as the others. I'm reading Money, Money right now and having a blast!
