I really enjoyed this book. Very descriptive and you could feel the city and the lives in it, heavy and oppressive. A great debut novel. Looking forward to the sequel in May.

Absolutely amazing. This book is for anyone who have ever lost and grieved for someone loved. This story lets you know that grieving is necessary and that humor and love are too. It's about loving, losing, letting go and coming to terms with your real inner self. I highly recommend this book but don't forget the tissues, you will need them.

I love Dean Koontz's books but was very disappointed in this book. Not at all up to Koontz's usual fare. Rather juvenile and predictable. Has he written so many that he can't come up with any good stories any more?

LOVE this book. The movie was good but as always the book is better. I have read this 3 times now and am thinking about reading it again.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Didn't want it to end. Romance novels are not something I usually read but this was a wonderful book.

My mother died when I was 7. I found this book on the 30th anniversary of her death. It helped me to understand many things. I still find it useful today having just recently passed the 40th anniversary of her death. Anyone who has lost their mother, male or female, should read this book. There is sure to be some insight that everyone can take from it.

A wonderful tribute to his father. Jack Lemmon was a class act. Anyone who enjoyed watching Jack Lemmon should read this book.

I couldn't even finish this book and that is very, very rare. The book started out great and the story about Atlantis was good but the author got carried away with describing all of the technology and by the time I got through it I had lost track of the story. I realize this was his debut novel but I seriously doubt that I will ever pick up another one of his books.

  • It's All Too Much: An Easy Plan for Living a Richer Life with Less Stuff

Being a fan of Peter Walsh on Clean Sweep I was somewhat dissapointed in this book. There was really nothing new in it that couldn't be found in other organization books. I think one thing he could have done was a go a little more in-depth into his explanations of why people let their homes and their lives get into such cluttered states. Overall not a bad book but like I said just nothing new in it.
