Chronicles Vol. I is an autobiography and is really well done. There is a lot of Bob Dylan in my book. If you read it, I hope you like it. I am a centrist. I used to be more conservative, but not so much anymore. Bush really pissed me off. Send me an Email to lifeandlife only22@gmail.com, and I will respond with a way to get your hands on my stories. I think you can order Monkey Puzzle through Amazon.com. If you like my book, please consider rating it on barnes and noble, amazon, and/or anything else you can find! If you would like a signed copy by me, you can let me know in the Email, and get the book through me. I can tell you how to do that. I will also attach my recent newsletter to my reply. Well, I gotta run. Try not to fall down today, OK?

    Hey, Gayla.

I love fall. Growing up in Wisconsin, September and October were the best months of the year. The combination of school starting, football starting, the leaves, the nice weather (a rarity on Lake Michigan), and, of course, the baseball playoffs were too much! You don't have to apologize for not liking baseball. I can tell you that I remember growing up in the 70's when the heavyweights were such a big deal and the fights were on Friday nights on ABC (Howard Cosell). I also remember my dad doing a promotional activity to raise money for his baseball team, and he brought some professional wrestlers to Sheboygan. This was before they all got so big, and they would actually come to smaller venues--I'm talking the big names at the time. Also, we had Road America right up the road, and my dad used to be a sports writer. He took me to the races, and all the big names and Indy cars came through--Andretti, Rahal--all of them. So do not let me interfere with your likes!

Volunteerism is down in our country. I am a member of a local Kiwanis Club, and people are run so ragged these days, that it's tough. At any rate, look who's babbling now! Thanks for dropping me a line.

As to nice falls, October usually produces one really nice week, and the color can be terrific around here, especially farther north where I came from, but this year, all dreary and rainy in Chicago. Really brutal there, Vegas girl.

Take good care. Try to avoid TV tomorrow. All college football--not your thing!

Good morning, Gayla. I looked at your shelf and you really have a wide variety of books. It looks like you like biographies. I just accepted your friend request. You can never have too many, right? I look forward to talking with you more in the future. Hope you have a wonderful day. You must like, baseball, music or both. Thanks for the kind words--not sure what I did to deserve them, but I'm not complaining!

Thanks Gayla, I'll pick-up True Compas! On another note, how would you compare Always looking up to his first memoir? I looked at your "wish to read" list. 3 Cups is a great journey. I saw a Michigan book on your list, maybe my new Vegas friend has the same corn fed midwestern roots as me? I grew up in the northern suburbs of Detroit. Have a great day in Vegas. A cool and cloudy day in Chicago, but a Friday is a Friday and I'll take it! Dave

Sure! If you want to edit any of the content on the book pages, just click the "edit" link that appears in the upper right corner of the content area that you want to edit. If you don't see it, make sure you move your mouse over the content that you want to edit. Let me know if that doesn't answer your question.
