“I picked this up one day because I was bored and also because I wanted to find out what went on in the religion that was Satanism. Thats me, curious as to what goes on in the minds of people shunned by the greater public. So as i began to read more into the book, I found out quickly that Anton LaVey had basically taken the rules and testaments(I think thats what they are called) from Christianity and Catholasism and written down the exact opposite. For me it seemed that he had made Satanism just what people stereotyped it to be. The main message that came across to me was, do what ever you want and dont give a f*ck when you do it. It seemed like a pointless way to live your life because by going around and doing what you like, you'll most likely end up in jail. It also annoys me alot when people give Lucifer a satanic title, he was the Roman(I believe it Roman, if not then Greek) God of Light. If you are looking into Satanism, I suppose read this book because it doesnt seem like there is any other 'bible' out there that relates to this subject, but just be prepared, it's a very stereotypical religion. One thing that sort of confused me though, was the lack of Satan worshipping and more of a focus of self worship. I guess you could call that the curve ball, but still it was odd in how much you could assume about this religion and be right. ”
